Once upon a time long ago and far away, Shirl was ushered into existence on the face of Earth.
A few years later, armed with pencils and crayolas, her second grade teacher, Miss Scott, declared Shirl had a vivid imagination.
As years elapsed, Shirl undertook the dreaded art major and English minor college curriculum. Somehow, with her art and English credentials, she avoided delivering pizzas during her working career. In life she has utilized education from science, math, art, and language and feels "comfortable within her skin."
